Questions

Are there Quran competitions near me in the UK?

Most UK competitions are run by local masjids, madrasahs and Islamic schools, so they cluster around cities with large Muslim communities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bradford and Leicester. Check the location line on each listing, and ask your local masjid too, because many smaller musabaqas are only announced in person or on WhatsApp.

Who can enter a UK Quran competition?

It depends on the organiser. Most have age bands and set portions, for example a few surahs for younger children up to several juz or the whole Quran for older huffaaz. Some are open to anyone, others only to students of particular madrasahs. The organiser’s page has the rules.

Is my competition missing?

Organisers can list a competition here free. Send us the name, date, city and a link through the contact page and we add it to the directory and this page.
